In addition, CFM International provides 24-hour phone support for Aircraft On the Ground (AOG) issues, spare part and spare engine requirements, and for technical assistance. CFM International Customer Technical Training facilities in the U.S. and France provide comprehensive, hands-on maintenance training for all CFM56 engine models. Working with the Civil Aviation Administration in China, CFM helped open the new Aero Engine Maintenance Training School in Guanghan, China, in 1996.
