What to expect
Once you've decided to have your engines evaluated, you'll need to submit a list of the desired ESN's to your CFM representative or to truengine@cfm56.com.
After a consultation with your CFM customer team, you will notified of the maintenance records required to complete the qualification evaluation.
Once your records have been received, evaluation generally takes around two weeks dependent upon the age, complexity, and quantity of engines submitted. Occasionally, additional information is required. But in all cases, if you are unable to supply the required records, CFM is unable to evaluate or qualify your engine.
Upon completion of engine evaluation, your CFM representative will notify you of which engines qualify for TRUEngine status.
This status remains in effect until the next shop visit, at which time you'll need to submit updated records for requalification. Please note that you may elect to opt-out of the program at any time. |

Records requirements
The records required to evaluate engines for TRUEngine status are specific to engine model, ensuring adequate information is available to verify content against the latest CFM-issued, FAA/EASA-approved IIIICCCCAAA (ICA).
Records may also vary between maintenance providers, but typically all form 8130s, memos of shipment, on-logs, & the shop visit history report provide necessary data for evaluation.
It is essential that CFM is able to verify all parts replaced and repairs performed, traceable to last module O/H or new in order to ensure the integrity of qualified engines.
