As a CFM56 owner or operator, you want to protect your engine's value and its ability to qualify for the full range of CFM's technical support.
TRUEngine designation identifies an engine that contains CFM-approved parts and repairs as of its most recent shop visit or new-make production, based on a thorough review of maintenance records and available information.
TRUEngine designation helps appraisers, owners, operators, and purchasers understand an engine material content for accurate valuation and also facilitates CFM’s ability to provide optimal product support.
Appraisers and buyers can quickly confirm an engine’s qualification status by serial number.
Every engine qualified for the TRUEngine program is eligible for the full backing of the industry’s most comprehensive support network, because CFM stands behind every engine it builds.
As CFM expands and improves the TRUEngine program, customers should contact their CFM representative to learn more about new benefits, or email truengine@cfm56.com.

TRUEngine status:
- Identifies engines containing only CFM-approved parts and repairs, which the market uses to assist in assigning value.
- Is a free program, with no cost to qualify or receive benefits.
- Is not permanent or contractual. Status remains in effect until next shop visit (requalification), configuration change, or owner/operator choice to decline.
- Is granted on an individual ESN basis… not by customer or fleet.
- Is based on maintenance records to the latest exposure of each module.
- Ensures CFM is able to provide optimal technical and product support.
